Hampton Inn & Suites Salt Lake City-University/Foothill Presents Jackson’s Room
Jackson’s Room is a collaborative effort to provide lodging at Hampton Inn & Suites Salt Lake City-University/Foothill to families in need of medical care at Primary Children’s Hospital for a greatly reduced rate*.
Jackson Thomas Loveless was born with a brain mass that lead to multiple complex health issues. Jackson and his parents lived out-of-state and would travel to PCH approximently every 9 weeks for 14 years. Over that time PCH and the Hampton Inn became their second home. The Hampton Inn provided Jackson and his family excellent hospitality during their stays. Jackson always enjoyed his visits to the hotel and became friends with the staff over the years.
In August 2017 the program was named Jackson’s Room in honor of Jackson. Upon Jackson’s passing in December 2017 his family and friends wanted to do something in Jack’s memory to help other families with similar challenges.
In-Group Hospitality and owners Dee’s Inc have approved maintenance of this account to assure it is continued. The hotel and Jackson’s family continue fund raising efforts in his honor with a Summer Luau in August and a donation tree in December.
Jackson’s parents understand first hand the unique challenges that can occur when having an ill child. It is their hope that with ongoing donations that any PCH family in need will be able to access this program. #jacksonsroom #ingrouphospitality
